Fall 2008- Game 7

After two tough weeks, the Maroons put together a win. The offense carried the day as the Maroons scored a season high & team record 26 runs. In fact, the Maroons scored the winning run in the bottom of the first.
The win leaves the Maroons alone in third place with a bye next week. There is a good chance for the Maroons to be in a four way tie for second place. Depending on Hillside, Spark Trucking, and FI Presbyterian do in their respective games, the Maroons could wind up anywhere from second to fifth place.
Either way, the 5-2 record was a regular season best for the Maroons. The team was in scored double digit runs in every game but one and three times blew past the twenty run mark. Now the Maroons sit back, let the season end, and hope that offense can carry them throughout the playoffs.
