The Maroons take a winning record into the playoffs with a 20 – 9 rout of eRad.  The Maroons simply overpowered eRad offensively.  Each inning the Maroons sent at least eight batters to the plate and scored a minimum of three runs in route to their biggest margin of victory on the season.
The win, combined with Elliott Davis’ victory over Jackson Dawson, puts the Maroons in fifth place for the year.  All the of the National league teams will play their American league counterparts during round one of the sixteen team, single elimination tournament.
The Maroons will play hillside, the #4 seed American League team, Monday night at 8:30.  Hillside, like the Maroons, finished their season with a 4 & 3 record.
