The Maroons missed an opportunity to secure an upper half playoff seeding with a loss to the current second place team, Jackson Dawson.   Too many 2-out base hits/errors contributed to a mercy rule shortened, five-inning game.
The Maroons held a 5-3 lead into the 3rd inning but never really got it together offensively.  Ten of the Maroons' fifteen outs were pop-ups or fly balls.  With the pressure off, Jackson Dawson out scored the Maroons, 11- 3, in the last two innings, and won the game.
Game 7 against eRad is meaningless outside of momentum and confidence.  The Maroons are guaranteed a spot in the 4/5 seed game and have no control over who will be their opponent.  Likely opponents include Elliott Davis (W), Jackson Dawson (L), or the Rockers (L)
