The Maroons played a
solid softball game against St. Mary's winning 13 to 8.Eight runs in the first two innings put
the game in the hands of the defense which was shaky but up to the
challenge.The real difference in the
game was the clutch Maroon hitting.9
of the 13 Maroon runs were driven in with 2 outs in the books.
Five Forks and Messiah
Lutheran both loss creating a three way tie for second place. The Maroons
will get a chance to break that tie by beating Messiah Lutheran in our game
next week.
