Woodruff Road Baptist
showed the Maroons why they are the #1 team from their church.Their pesky offense scored a run in every
inning, amassing 14 by the end of the night. But their defense was the difference in the game.WRBC turned two double plays, caught
several line drives, and limited their errors. The Maroons were held to just 6 runs after scoring a season
high 17 runs against “The Dos”.
This loss dropped the
Maroons out of a three-way tie for second place. However, the final two games of the season are against the
other second place teams.This means
that, because of the head to head tie breaker, the Maroons still control
their own destiny for the second seed in the playoffs.
Game 5 vs.
Woodruff Rd. #1 (Loss 14-6)
