The Maroons won
their first round playoff game against Woodruff Road Presbyterian by a score
of 12 to 10.The game was firmly
under Maroon control until a surprise and Maroon record 7th inning was
played.The top of the 7th started out
innocent enough with a first pitch ground out.8 runs later, the game was much tenser.The Maroons finally put the game away but
not before the potential winning run stepped into the batter’s box.
Chris, Rob, and Alex
led the offense combining for 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
