The game plan for The
Maroons going into the playoffs was simple:Score a few runs in the first inning and play enough defense to win
the game.The problem was that the
team in dark red continued to execute that plan after giving up 14 runs in
the top of the first.For the second
time this season, R & R batted around in every inning to earn a first
round rout of The Maroons.They will
meet up with Carolina First in the finals. Defensive highlight:A strong relay by Mike and a good tag by
Jesse to end the first inning at the plate Offensive highlight:Brett and Doug each hit a homer to rack up
all four RBI’s of the game.
